monthly round up: february 2018

Another month is over and here comes my little round up including of course some k-pop and k-drama as well as some food. Let's start.

what I saw

I am currently watching three k-dramas at once. I am still not finished with While You Were Sleeping but I started to watch Just Between Lovers and The Guardians or often found with the title Lookout as well. Up until now, Lookout is not the typical korean romance drama thing, it’s kind of more „action“. It’s about some people who lost loved ones because of criminals and because the south korean justice isn’t able to catch the criminals they want to do it by themselves. A little bonus, Shinee’s Key is part of this drama. By the way, I made an account on so follow me there if you also love k-dramas.

After a long time, my boyfriend and I went to the cinema together to finally watch the last part of Maze Runner. I really enjoy the series, the movies and the books as well. I was really looking forward to it and was curious about how they will put it on the big screen and I have to say I really liked it. But I also cried at one particular scene - I don't want to spoil so I leave it here.

music i liked

So I.M of Monsta X dropped a new song and what can I say - I love it. It's so pleasing to watch and listen. Please give it a try.

NCT U - BOSS At first I was like "Hmm, well I don't know" but at the end, I love it. Nothing more I can say.

Seventeen - Thanks / 고맙다 This song is beautiful, the music video and the whole choreography is so well made. We need to say Thank You Seventeen!

I also listened to a lot of Shinee songs last month (and still doing). Because there are tons I love, I will not link them all.

Are you down for some delicious korean food?

what i ate

We tried a new "restaurant" here in Berlin. It's called YamYam. Of course, we had to order Bibimbap because it's one of our favorite dishes and it was really delicious and definitely worth trying. You can find it here: Alte Schönhauser Str. 6, 10119 Berlin

what I bought

I filled my shelf with more k-pop. YAY! One really cool thing is the Shinee Cassette Tape Edition from the Album 1 of 1. This looks so cool and "retro". (No, I don't have a cassette player so I can't listen to it now, but anyway...)
